Product Description

A simple bidding game where players use their hand cards to compete for vulture (point) cards. To win high-value cards, you need strong hand cards. However, be careful not to play the same number as another player, as you will not win. It requires both boldness and strategy.

Is it more of a "bid" than an "auction"?

I often introduce it as "a 15-round bidding game," but "bid" is actually a more accurate description.

In an auction, you gradually raise the price, but in this game, it's a one-shot deal, and players don't know what others will play, so it's definitely a "bid."

Why we recommend it

The rules are very simple, but you can't win without reading other players' moves. It's a deep game.

How to Play

Separate the number cards by color and deal them to each player. There are 15 cards of each color, numbered 1 to 15. Shuffle the 15 point cards well and form a deck.

Flip over the top card of the point card deck.

Each player secretly places one card from their hand face down (this is the "bid").

Once all players have placed a card, reveal them.

Determine who wins the point card according to the following rules. The used number cards are discarded.

If the point card is a positive number, the player who played the highest number wins it.

If the point card is a negative number, the player who played the lowest number wins it.

However, if multiple players played the same number, those players are disqualified, and the next eligible player wins it (see diagram below).

The game ends after 15 rounds. The player with the highest total points wins.
