Artwork: Vincent DutraitBecome the Maharaja's exclusive merchant by acquiring and selling goods at better rates than your opponent!Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, India. You want to become the Maharaja's exclusive merchant by being wealthier than your opponent at the end of each week. To do this, you must collect and exchange goods (cards) in the market, then sell them to earn rupees (the reverse side of tokens). If you make a good trade (3 or more cards), you'll receive additional rewards (bonus tokens). Camels are mainly used for exchanges when you want multiple goods from the market.
"Jaipur" is a tactical two-player trading game. Players take turns acquiring (exchanging) goods or selling the goods they have to earn rupees. A round ends when the market's goods card deck runs out, or when three of the six types of goods saturate the market. At this point, the player who has earned more rupees receives a "Seal of Excellence" and is recognized by the Maharaja. The first player to collect two "Seals of Excellence" becomes the Maharaja's exclusive merchant and wins the game.
