In Inori Valley, a village has been built in the shade of a gigantic sacred tree, where villagers live alongside benevolent (and jealous) spirits.
Each year, the village elder offers sacrifices to the spirits and builds an altar to honor the Great Tree.
Aim to receive as many blessings as possible from the spirits and become the Guardian of the Great Tree for the year!
In "Inori Valley," players embark on a journey to receive blessings from the spirits, aiming to become the Guardian of the Great Tree in the village.
On your turn, you place your "offering marker" in a space on the game board or on a journey card in play.
From the space you place it on, you can receive blessings from spirits of various colors, as well as points needed for victory in the game.
When acquiring costs or points from some spaces, you will refer to the color and number of blessings you possess, so collecting blessings of a particular color is very important.
Furthermore, after all players have placed their offering markers, when checking the journey cards at the end of the round, it is important whether all spaces on that card are filled.
If all are filled, it is achieved; if not, it is not achieved. However, the points gained and the color of the card that replaces it differ in each case, so sometimes cooperating with others or deliberately avoiding achievement may lead to better results.
Keep a close eye on other players' actions and make the optimal choice.
The game progresses in this way, and after all 4 rounds are completed, the game ends.
The player with the most points at that time becomes the winner and serves as the Guardian of the Great Tree!
This worker placement game deliberately omits complex resource conversion, offering refined gameplay with simple rules and a short play time that makes you want to play it again and again.
