Authors: Steven Strumpf & Scott Frisco. "Rhino Hero" is a game where players aim to be the first to empty their hand of cards by building a tower. Players take turns placing folded cards as pillars and then selecting and stacking the next floor from their hand, all without collapsing the tower. Each player takes turns repeating the process of "building pillars (walls)" and "playing and stacking a floor card from their hand."
When "building pillars (walls)," players take 1-2 folded cards from the stock and place them as pillars (walls) according to the shape depicted on the top card of the tower. Depending on how these pillars are placed, the balance of the seemingly straight tower subtly changes.
When "playing and stacking a floor card from your hand," players carefully place one card chosen from their hand on top of the pillars.
Players repeat this process, aiming to be the first to empty their hand. However, special effects are activated depending on the type of card stacked, causing the number of cards in hand to increase or decrease.
For example, some cards make the next player draw a card from the deck, others reverse the turn order, and some allow a player to play another card consecutively. Use these wisely to prevent your rivals from winning. Furthermore, there are "Rhino cards" that change the balance of the tower. When a Rhino card is stacked, the next player must retrieve the rhino hero "Rhino" token from a lower floor and place it on the rhino symbol of the card just placed.
As the tower grows taller, the floor positions are stacked in a straight line, making it appear stable at first glance. However, by stacking cards or moving Rhino, its tilt actually shifts significantly from side to side.
If you collapse the tower, the person with the fewest cards in hand (excluding you) wins. Be careful when moving Rhino.
The game continues this way until someone empties all their cards, or if someone collapses the tower, the person with the fewest cards wins.
