I want to create things I love with people who truly love them.
This figure was born from that feeling.
The fish species and scenes chosen after extensive discussions with SHIMANO are, I believe, scenes that every angler has experienced or imagined.
I sculpted this with the earnest desire to keep that fantasy close at hand. In addition to my own image of fishing, the dedication of the Shimano staff helped make the figure even more convincing.
I hope this figure will inspire you to reflect on your own fishing spots. This "strike fantasy figure" embodies the angler's fantasy of anticipating the next fishing trip, imagining the target fish attacking the lure, and chuckling to oneself. ・Reproduces in detail the dynamic movement of the sea bass repeatedly thrashing its head to dislodge the minnow caught in its mouth.
Its tense fins convey a sense of indignation. The powerfully bulging muscles of its back. Its mouth and gills are open wide enough to see the gill rakers. The splashing water tells the story of the intensity of its fight.
