I wanted to create something I love with people who truly love it.
This figure was born from that desire.
The fish species and their respective scenes, chosen through repeated discussions with SHIMANO, are, I believe, moments every angler has experienced or imagined.
I sculpted this with the earnest desire to always keep those fantasies close at hand. In addition to my own image of fishing, the dedication of the Shimano representative made the figure even more compelling.
I hope this figure inspires you to reflect on your own fishing spots. It’s a Strike Fantasy Figure that gives form to the angler's fantasy – imagining the next fishing trip, smiling to yourself as you envision a target fish attacking your lure.・The moment a nimble darting motion with the Egi lure makes a Bigfin Reef Squid lock onto it.
As it shivers its fins, approaches its prey, and extends its tentacles, the angler's tension reaches its climax. This figure captures the exciting sight fishing in seaweed beds, along with a depiction of the springtime underwater environment.
