I want to create something I truly love with people who truly love it.
This figure was born from that desire.
The fish species and scenes, carefully selected through repeated discussions with SHIMANO, are likely scenes that any angler has experienced or dreamed of.
I sculpted this with the earnest desire to always keep that fantasy close at hand. In addition to my own image of fishing, the dedication of the Shimano staff member made the figure even more convincing.
I hope this figure inspires you to reflect on your own fishing spots. A Strike Fantasy Figure that gives form to an angler's fantasy – imagining the target fish attacking the lure and smirking in anticipation of the next fishing trip. In the quiet serenity of a lakeside enveloped in morning mist, you aim a popper at the edge of a submerged tree. "Come on!" you yell in your heart, fully concentrating on manipulating the lure.
Below the dog-walking popper, the silhouette of a big bass with its mouth wide open... Then, after a breath, the hook set... The thrilling fantasy never stops.
