The third installment in 'The Great Western Trail' series.

While retaining the basic system that combines a board game with deck building, the setting has shifted from 19th-century America to New Zealand.

In this game, the export target has changed from cattle to sheep, and the variety of cards for deck building has increased.
Additionally, a new action, "Shearing Sheep," has been added, making it possible to fund not only sheep trading but also wool trading.
A new resource, "Gold," also appears. "Gold" can primarily be used to purchase bonus cards, among other various applications.

Furthermore, the means of export is now by ship instead of rail, and a "Sea Route Board" that is not a single path is included. Deciding how to proceed from the highly flexible options available is a crucial point.
