Pre-painted and assembled [Scale] 1/64 [Material] Die-cast The Isuzu Bellett 1600GT, released in 1964, competed with the Skyline for the title of "Japan's first GT." Its European-style design and advanced mechanisms such as four-wheel independent suspension garnered attention, earning it the nickname "Bele-G" and a respected position among car enthusiasts of the time. In '69, the most powerful version, the 1600GTR (GT type R depending on the model year), was released, equipped with the G161 DOHC engine from the earlier 117 Coupe. As a symbol of the good old '60s culture, it is still supported by enthusiastic fans today. TLV has been producing Bele-G models since 2013. This time, we are releasing a new color for the final GT type R, and as a new specification, the 1800GT, which was added in 1970. The 1800GT is externally identified by its ducted hood, similar to the GTR. This time, we have opted for a standard white body. The roof antenna, a symbol of the Bele-G, is also reproduced with user-installed parts. Please collect this originator of GT, celebrating its 60th anniversary.
