Die-cast miniature car (pre-painted, pre-assembled) [Scale] 1/64 The history of the rotary engine, temporarily interrupted by the end of RX-7 production, resumed with the RX-8, which appeared in 2003. To embody Mazda's vision of a sports car while being a 4-door, 4-seater vehicle, the compact rotary engine was indispensable. The RX-8, which evolved to suit the 21st century while retaining the image of Mazda's past sports cars, underwent a major interior and exterior change in 2008 and was produced until 2012, and is currently known as the last rotary sports car as of 2024. This time, TLV-NEO will release the late model RX-8 with a new mold. The hood can be opened and closed, and the engine cover is detachable, allowing a view of the engine compartment.
