The third-generation C10 Skyline, which appeared in 1968, saw its unique strong yet gentle image solidified and its sales dramatically increase thanks to the "Ai no Skyline" advertising campaign that began the following year and the GT-R's success on the circuit.
The 2000GT, which continued from the previous S54 series, changed its engine to Nissan's L20 type, evolving into a more refined GT car. In 1971, the 2000GT-X, equipped with the same twin-carb engine as the Fairlady Z, also appeared, maintaining immense popularity.
Even today, its reputation has not waned, and it remains a globally popular model under the nickname Hakoksuka.
TLV has previously released the Hakoksuka as a 4-cylinder sedan and van in 2007, and the 2000GT series sedan in 2016.
This time, new specifications will be added to the GT series.
The LV-163c recreates the 4-door sedan of the GT-X, which was added in the spring of 1972 with the phrase "Valiant 4-door," and the LV-214a recreates the patrol car specifications, a small number of which were deployed.
You can enjoy everything from the body lines, such as the "Surfing Line" flowing down the rear fender, to the intricate details, including the different front grilles and rear garnishes depending on the model year.
