The S40-series Masterline Crown Custom. The second-generation Toyopet Crown, which appeared in 1962, offered light van and wagon bodies. The commercial vehicle-registered van was named Masterline, while the passenger vehicle wagon was distinguished as the Crown Custom. A major change was made in 1965 when the front section was extended to accommodate a 6-cylinder engine. After receiving minor external changes in the autumn of the following year, the Masterline name disappeared with the generational change in 1967. TLV will now produce the final 1967 model of the Crown Custom. Based on the second-generation Crown, its stylish body with an extended rear overhang for the cargo area and its thin, long roof are appealing. This time, we are releasing the final 1967 model of the Crown Custom. This model also allows us to reflect on the changes in TLV and miniature cars over approximately 20 years. ●Highlights● (1) New specifications for the Crown Custom (2) Productization of the final Crown Custom model (206b) [Authored by: Tomytec]
