S40 Series Masterline JAF SpecificationThe second generation Toyopet Crown, which appeared in 1962, included light van and wagon body styles. The commercial-registered van was named Masterline, and the passenger wagon was named Crown Custom, differentiating their names. The major change occurred in 1965 when the front end was extended to accommodate a 6-cylinder engine. After minor exterior changes in the autumn of the following year, the Masterline name disappeared in 1967 with the generational change. TLV is now commercializing the 1966 Masterline JAF specification. Based on the second-generation Crown, the body, with its rear overhang extended for cargo space, is stylish, and the thin, long roof is also appealing. This time, we are releasing the 1966 Masterline that was used as a road service car by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) at the time. This is a model that allows you to reflect on the changes in TLV and miniature cars over about 20 years. ●Highlights●
