Introducing a product of JAF's tow truck from the Showa era! This is the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) specification of the Toyota Stout tow truck. The Stout, a bonnet-type truck that inherits the lineage of Toyota's first light commercial vehicle, the SB model, saw its second generation released in 1960. As a domestic pickup truck, it was large in size and, with its tough structure featuring a frame chassis and leaf rigid suspension front and rear, it was widely used as a base for specialized vehicles such as tow trucks. TLV reproduces the final model (RK101 type) where the front grille gained a modern look with a minor change in 1967. The Stout tow truck, always popular, now appears with the coloring of a vehicle that was active in the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF). The catchphrase on the side also enhances the nostalgic atmosphere. A towing dolly (cart) is included, so you can combine it with your existing TLV passenger cars (some models may not be compatible) to recreate towing scenes. Please enjoy imagining various situations. ●Highlights● (1) New specification for the "Showa era commercial vehicle" Stout tow truck (2) Modeled after a vehicle actually active in JAF! (3) Can tow some TLV series passenger cars! [Responsibility for text: Tomytec]
