The 2-door hardtop version of the 3rd generation Skyline, commonly known as "Hakohsuka," which was born in 1968, appeared in the autumn of 1970.
The wheelbase was shortened by 70mm compared to the preceding 4-door sedan, reportedly for better cornering performance in races, but this also significantly contributed to the styling.
In particular, the long-nosed 2000GT series also helped improve the overall image of the Skyline, and sales, which had been on an upward trend due to the "Ai no Skyline" advertising campaign, increased even further. After producing the 4-cylinder sedan, van, 2000GT series sedan, and 2000GT-R sedan of the Hakosuka, TLV is now finally commercializing the 2-door hardtop. First, we will reproduce the 1971 model of the 2000GT, which is an early model.
It will be available in two colors: silver, a color symbolizing the Hakosuka, and lavender metallic (sold separately), known as a rare color.
This model is a masterpiece that was also commercialized in early Tomica.
