The 2-door hardtop version of the 3rd generation Skyline, known as the "Hakosuka," which debuted in 1968, was introduced in the autumn of 1970.
It is said that the wheelbase was shortened by 70mm compared to the preceding 4-door sedan to improve cornering performance in races, but it also significantly contributed to the styling.
In particular, the long-nosed 2000GT series helped to enhance the overall image of the Skyline, and sales, which had already been on the rise due to the "Skyline of Love" advertising campaign, further increased. Following the Hakosuka 4-cylinder sedan, van, 2000GT series sedan, and 2000GT-R sedan, TLV is now finally releasing the 2-door hardtop. First, we will reproduce the 1971 2000GT, which is an early model.
It will be available in two colors: silver (sold separately), a color emblematic of the Hakosuka, and lavender metallic, known as a rare color.
This model was also a masterpiece product in early Tomica releases.
