The Y30 Cedric/Gloria, introduced in 1983, was revamped with a V6 engine, a first for a Japanese passenger car, as its highlight. While retaining the popular styling of its predecessor, the exterior also saw advancements as a luxury car of the 1980s, such as an extended wheelbase and increased interior dimensions. The following year, in 1984, further refinements were made, including the addition of the Brougham VIP as the top-grade model, featuring a V6 3000cc turbo specification previously installed in the Fairlady Z. In 1985, the exterior underwent a major change. Its further enhanced luxurious appearance could be described as the pinnacle of Japanese luxury cars at the time.
TLV-NEO has been developing the Y30 Cedric/Gloria since 2017. In particular, both early and late model 4-door hardtops have been commercialized. This time, we are adding the late model Cedric, specifically the 2000cc top-grade Turbo Brougham specification.
The Turbo Brougham is inspired by the crystal white color commonly seen in towns at the time.
