(2) Evocative body colorThe 510-model Datsun, which appeared in 1967, established the appeal of Japanese cars overseas: affordable, high-performance, and easy to use. The 510 model combined advanced mechanisms such as an OHC engine, independent four-wheel suspension (for passenger cars), and a ventilation system that eliminated quarter windows, with extraordinary durability. It was exported to various countries around the world and is still revered as a classic Japanese car. The 2-door sedan, available from its debut, was designed for business use or for families with small children who wanted to prevent accidental door openings. While relatively rare in Japan, it gained popularity as the main body type for American exports. TLV has been offering 1/64 scale 510 model Bluebird sedans and vans since 2009, and this time, a 2-door sedan variation is making a comeback after a long hiatus. We are adding the 1969 North American specification DATSUN 510 (local name). Please also note the front grille, tail lamps, and other details. The body color is selected from genuine colors, and the North American specification features a simple yet vibrant turquoise blue. Enjoy the sleek 510 that evokes the supersonic line.
