Sculptor: Battroid: Norimotors, Sedo (Max Factory)/Figure: Hiroshi Yuasa (Max Factory)This is a 1/72 scale plastic model of the "Armored Valkyrie" from the TV anime "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross."
The Armored Valkyrie, with its weapon containers and drop tanks, is立体化しました by intentionally omitting the transformation and armored equipment detachment mechanisms to faithfully recreate its powerful and cohesive appearance as seen in the design drawings and during its anime debut.
Each part is molded in 6 colors, allowing for a realistic finish just by assembling and applying the water-slide decals. Additionally, by painting the finer details, it can be made to look even closer to its appearance in the show.
The hatches of each weapon container can be chosen to be open or closed, allowing you to assemble it in the state of firing all micro missiles, recreating the impressive scene from episode 9 of the TV anime, "Miss Macross." Each joint uses polycaps for smooth posing.
Water-slide decals are used for various markings.
Includes VF-1J head parts.
The shoulder and chest missile containers faithfully recreate the shape from the design drawings by using dedicated hatch parts for both open and closed states.
Hinge parts are included for the leg missile container hatches, dedicated to either open or closed.
