Deadpool's design is arranged by designer Kosei Ohata, who is also a toy enthusiast. Hiroyuki Komatsubara handled the sculpting and direction. Sculpted with a focus on the "suit" enclosing a human body, the articulation points are designed to mimic human movement as closely as possible. Die-cast parts are used throughout to replicate a sense of heft. Weapons such as swords, shurikens, and guns can be attached. A stand for aerial action scenes is also included.
