The story begins with the Royal Family, who rules the Great Cosmos, cleaning their castle.
As everyone cleans, they find various items, from nostalgic to unidentifiable.
Among them, they discover a strange scroll.
Bored with cleaning, the King throws the scroll high into the sky, playing with it, and accidentally destroys the Earth, Moon, and many other stars in space.
To restore the broken stars, they must time travel to the era written on the scroll and revive the starry sky.
――Commanded by the King, the Prince rolls the Katamari again today.
