Mysterious rifts appear all over the vast land of Hyrule, and "divine disappearances" occur, swallowing people and objects. Link, the swordsman, is also swallowed up and goes missing. The remaining Princess Zelda embarks on an adventure across Hyrule to save her people and Link. ◆Fairy Tri and the power of "borrowing."
Princess Zelda meets the fairy "Tri" and, with the power of the Tri Rod she receives, she gains the ability to "borrow" various things in Hyrule, such as tables, crates, and beds. Once something is borrowed, it can be created anywhere at any time. How to use which borrowed item, such as creating tables or beds to jump over cliffs, changes the strategy in various ways depending on the player's choices and ideas. ◆Even monsters can be "borrowed."
Monsters inhabiting Hyrule will also fight as "borrowed" items in place of Princess Zelda. The key to battles is strategic thinking, such as deciding which monster to send based on the situation and compatibility. In addition to battles, monsters can also support Princess Zelda's adventure by gliding with the help of flying monsters or having fire monsters burn vegetation.
