A new tennis battle! The "Mario Tennis" series lets anyone enjoy rallies with a variety of shots.
This title introduces 30 types of "Fever Rackets" that create various effects on the court, such as the "Ice Racket" that freezes the court and the "Shadow Racket" that creates a doppelganger. The combination of which racket to choose and which of the 38 characters (the most in the series) to play with will be the key to victory. Of course, the familiar classic rules, which don't use Fever Rackets, are also still present. "Defense" actions like slide footwork and lunging shots have been added, and "offense" movements have been enhanced to make it easier to destabilize opponents with angles left and right and variations in front-back pace, allowing for deeper strategic play.
