Illustration: Shunya Yamashita "Space... the final frontier. These are the voyages of mankind, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before..." A standalone sci-fi drama series, "Star Trek: The Original Series." Kotobukiya has enlisted illustrator Shunya Yamashita to create a BISHOUJO figure!
The third figure is a Command Officer from the Command division, which is crucial for space exploration and handles command and control operations on starships and space stations.
The figure depicts a female officer of Captain rank leading an away mission, sculpted in an action pose reminiscent of a battle scene. In her hand, she holds a Type 2 Phaser for self-defense and a newly sculpted communicator gadget. Her dignified appearance, befitting a reliable ship commander, brings to mind Captain Kirk. The base incorporates the design of "Vasquez Rocks," a famous filming location familiar to Star Trek fans, and is finished as a diorama base that also evokes the confrontation scene from one of the fan-favorite episodes, Episode 18, "Arena," featuring the Gorn.
