When taking it apart and putting it back together, the letters don't face each other, and it can be assembled in a way that looks like it's complete, but that's incorrect.

When complete, the "Key" and "Ring" text on the body should face each other.

This puzzle is inspired by the property called "C-ring parity," where "two C-rings can be assembled in two ways, but once assembled, they cannot be changed to the other assembly method" and achieves a "parity change" without disassembling.

The designer is Oskar van Deventer from the Netherlands.

The text "Key Ring" is designed to be readable as "Key Ring" even when upside down.

This is a work by the genius ambigram artist Scott Kim.
