The Story of the Development of the Norwegian Fishing Village of Nusfjord
Nusfjord is a quiet fishing village in the Lofoten Islands, Northern Norway. Fifty years ago, when cod gathered to spawn, business was booming. Sailing ships came and went through the fjord, and the island's beautiful rocks were surrounded by vast forests. Today, Nusfjord is more of a museum than a village, and cruise ships have, until recently, sailed past the beauty of the largely abandoned island.
At that time, you are the owner of a large fishing company, aiming to develop and expand the harbor and the surrounding landscape. Gain the favor of the council elders, increase your catch, and construct valuable buildings. Ultimately, the player who has the most successful business in Nusfjord will be the winner.
"Nusfjord" is an advanced board game with fast-paced and varied gameplay. This big box includes card decks already released in Japanese, as well as card decks not yet released in Japanese and two new card decks. The game ends after playing all 7 rounds, and the player with the most victory points from constructed ships and buildings, and owned share certificates, is the winner. It's a sandbox-style game where you develop your harbor using various elements with a worker placement mechanism. Rules for a solo game are also included.
