You have a special ability!
As a telepathic "Sender," you can project your thoughts into others' minds, making them write a specific word.
But not everyone is a born "Sender."
Perhaps you're better suited as a "Receiver"?
Those who establish a mental connection and successfully read minds win this game.
Can you continue to make correct associations even without telepathic abilities?
In "Mind Match," one player is the "Sender," and the rest are "Receivers."
The Receivers' goal is to guess the word the Sender associated, and the Sender's goal is to have as many Receivers as possible guess their associated word.
The Sender makes four associations.
First, the Sender writes a word associated with a theme card onto a tile, and the Receivers guess it.
You can write up to four guessed words, but the fewer words you guess, the more points you get if you're correct, so sometimes it's important to take a chance.
Once everyone has made their guesses, the answers are revealed, and points are tallied.
At this time, the Sender also earns points based on the number of Receivers who guessed correctly.
In the second and third rounds, like in a game of telephone, the Sender associates a new word based on the previous one, and guesses and answers are made.
However, in the fourth round, the Sender must write a word associated with "the initial theme + all words associated in rounds 1-3," and the Receivers must guess it.
This means that for high scores, both the Sender and Receivers must gradually align their thinking, observing the results so far!
The game ends when every player has been the Sender once, and the player with the most points at that time is the winner.
This is a fun party game that will excite you with aligned values and unexpected gaps between players, and is enjoyable whether your predictions are correct or not!
