A big adventure for a tiny cat!

In "Cats of Kyoto," you become a kitten exploring the city of Kyoto, Japan, and growing along the way.
Make friends, hunt, climb trees, avoid danger... and if necessary, sharpen your claws for battle!

In "Cats of Kyoto," players become kittens, traveling through the city of Kyoto, growing, and aiming to achieve their goals as quickly as possible.

On your turn, you first "Move."
You can move from square to square as far as your kitten's stamina allows, and if there's a "paw print" there, you reveal it.
"Paw prints" represent things the kitten finds or creatures it encounters, and you can perform actions on them.

After moving, you "Act" on the "paw print" in that square.
In an action, you determine if the sum of your kitten's skill and the dice roll reaches the target value indicated on the "paw print."

If it reaches, it's a success, and you gain the respective effects.
If it doesn't reach, it's a failure, and you must move from that spot.
However, kittens learn from failure, and their skills grow.
This means that even difficult goals will gradually become easier to succeed at, so don't be afraid to bravely take on challenges.

By taking turns in this way, when you meet the conditions of the mission cards on the board or the conditions on your personal board, you can earn medals.
The kitten who collects the specified number of medals or more first becomes the winner of the game.

In addition to the basic rules of play, "Cats of Kyoto" includes 7 scenarios.
Each scenario adds different rules, allowing you to play different games.
Furthermore, these can be freely combined, so you can create and play your own scenarios.

It's a board game set in Japan that anyone, young or old, can enjoy, with fun artwork that captures a cute and heartwarming atmosphere, where you can truly become a kitten and adventure through the city of Kyoto.
