"History of the World" is a board game that retells the story of humanity, from ancient Sumerian civilization to modern-day United States.
The game unfolds over five significant eras, during each of which players card-draft to control one of the empires that appeared in that era of history, establishing and expanding that empire to gain gold from buildings and territories.
Each empire has a different origin and national power.
When choosing an empire, be mindful that you can gain gold not only from the empire of that era but also from past empires that have continued to exist!

At the end of the game, the player with the most gold becomes the winner of human history.
"History of the World" has been re-released in multiple editions since its initial launch in 1991.
This edition includes additional rules allowing play without dice.
Furthermore, the new concept of "Fame" has been added, introducing more diversity to the gameplay.
A new edition of this timeless masterpiece, continuously played over the years, is finally here!
