New strategies and algorithms are introduced, modeled after real-world race scenes, such as fierce battles for the lead, splitting through the pack in the straight, and match races fought neck and neck.
Race dynamics become even more realistic. For the first time in the series, facial expressions for jockeys and racehorses are also implemented, creating moments of passion and exhilaration, and dramatically enhancing the intensity of major races, including those overseas.
In addition, diverse visual expressions, such as individual muscle mass and running form differences for each racehorse, and the dedicated modeling of Del Mar Racetrack in the U.S., further evolve the race scenes to the highest level in horse racing games.
A new "World's Top 100 Horses" ranking is introduced, selecting horses based on their global records and memorable performances.
You'll aim for your beloved horse to rank among historical greats such as Man o' War, "America's greatest star horse," and Frankel, "the £100 million monster."
Furthermore, the chosen top-ranked horses will advance to a major race event called "The Legend Match," where they can compete in the ultimate championship across eras.
New parameters for racehorses have been added, such as adaptability to race development, including "endurance races" that test stamina, common in Europe, and "sprint finishes" where late speed is crucial, often seen in Japan.
This creates diverse individual characteristics for a horse's "strength."
Data for racecourses in Japan and around the world, which serve as the racing stage, has also been detailed.
Various characteristics such as elevation differences and straight length are digitized, making race selection based on your beloved horse's ability and individuality more important than ever.
Diverse training methods to hone new parameters have also been added, providing a more challenging gameplay experience for raising racehorses that excel globally.
The earliest scenario in "Winning Post" history, starting in 1971, is introduced.
Furthermore, the game features not only the appearance of the latest successful horses like Derby winner Danon Decile but also major revisions to the horse racing program, including the new graded race "Shirasagi S."
